My commitment
I want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use assistive technology. I aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What I've done
- Clear headings and page structure, with a skip link to the main content.
- An accessibility menu (the round button in the bottom corner of every page) lets you change text size, spacing, contrast, fonts and cursor size, pause animation, and turn on reading aids. Your choices are saved on your device.
- Every feature works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Text and background colours meet WCAG contrast ratios.
- Images have text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Text resizes up to 200% without loss of content, and the layout adapts to small screens.
- Animation is turned off if you've asked your device to reduce motion.
- Form fields have labels, and errors are announced.
Known limitations
The enquiry form opens your own email app to send your message. If that doesn't suit you, email me directly or ask for a call instead.
If you find anything else that's hard to use, please let me know.
Compatibility
The site is designed to work with recent versions of major browsers and with screen readers such as VoiceOver, NVDA and JAWS.
